چکیده

Dual band bandpass filter is designed and optimized for RF wireless applications. The performances of that RF dual band filter are improved especially parameters describing the insertion loss, return losses and rejection. Dual band bandpass filter using stub loaded resonators is designed and characterized. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data. This comparison shows that the magnitude of reflection coefficient S11 from ADS simulation is better than 28.0 dB, and the insertion loss S21 is less than 0.5 dB. The two rejections are also better than 32.0 dB. The simulated results also show that two central frequencies are located at desired 1.82 and 2.95 GHz. Comparison of measured and simulated results shows frequency drift. The main reason for this frequency shifting is due to some uncertainties. These are obviously due to geometrical and physical parameters H and r respectively of Duroid substrate used during design and measurements.

Fractal Bandpass Filter Using Y-shaped Dual-Mode Resonator for C-Band Receiver (Research Note)

In this study, a fractal, Y-shaped dual-mode resonator bandpass filter (BPF) with input-output cross-coupling is introduced. A parallel-coupling feed structure with a cross coupling has been used to generate two transmission zeroes (TZs) near the lower and upper cutoff frequency that can effectively improve the passband edge selectivity. Also, a fractal shaped based on conventional diamond and ...

A Compact UWB Bandpass Filter with High Selectivity and Dual Notched-Band

A novel compact-sized ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed in this paper. The proposed BPF is highly selective and is able to eliminate WLAN signals from 5.15-5.35 GHz, and downlink of X-band satellite communication signals from 7.25-7.75 GHz. Generally, a multiple-mode resonator (MMR), comprised of a U-shaped line, with two high impedance stubs connected to it, and one steppe...

Design and Analysis of Ultra-wide Band Bandpass Filter Using Spiral Stub-Loaded Triple-Mode Resonator with a Notched Band

An ultra-wide band band-pass filter using novel spiral stub-loaded triple-mode resonator (SSLTMR) is presented. New spiral stub loaded resonator is analyzed with odd and even modes analysis for this class of BPF, achieving higher band wide and size reduction. In order to have a good response characterized, two (SSL-TMRs) and two quarter wavelength digital coupled lines are used. This new design...

A Novel Microstrip Dual-band Bandpass Filter Using Dual-mode Square Patch Resonators

Dual-mode square patch resonator is well known in the design of a single band quasi-elliptic bandpass filter response. Here, the dual-mode square patch resonator is employed to achieve a dualband bandpass filter. A 6 pole dual-band bandpass filter response with 3 poles at each passband will be presented. The dual-band filter also exhibits a transmission zero between the two passbands. A detaile...

A Novel Compact Dual Notch Band Filter Based on Metamaterial Concept

Using composite right-left handed (CRLH) transmission line concept, a novel miniaturized dual notch band filter (DNBF) is proposed. The suggested DNBF consists of an interdigital transmission line (ITL), split ring resonators (SRRs) and complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs). Since the resonance frequency of the SRRs and CSRRs are quite independent of each other, the dual notch bands of th...
